We'd found many guides on the Internet of "How to convert a Single Wordpress Installation to Multisite", but none of them teach us How to Revert Back to Original, or How to Uninstall Wordpress Network from your Blog. Here is simple to Follow Guide for this
- First of all logon to your CPanel or File Manager and open wp-config.php in your Favorite Editor, and Delete all the files , you'd added to create a network.
- Then go to Wp-content from your File Manager and Delete Blogs.dir , but first ensure that it does not contain any Important File.
- Now go to Home Directory of your and Delete .htaccess . I know you're thinking about "What will happen to the Fancy Permalinks that your Wordpress blog have",Don't Worry you can regenerate it by changing Permalink Structure from Settings>Permalinks ,The .htaccess file will be generated automatically.
- Now open PHPmyAdmin and go to your Wordpress Database and find the Following Tables:
- wp_blogs
- wp_blog_versions
- wp_registration_log
- wp_site
- wp_sitemeta
- wp_signups
- wp_sitecategories (In many cases it's unavailable)
That's it, Now you have a Single Blog Installation, Go Outside and have a Party
